Art is a sensory experience.
It’s experiential and exploratory, personal and participatory. We see it, hear it, read it, taste it, watch it, touch it, sense it. Once art is filtered through our senses, we react. We are transported, elevated, inspired, awed, outraged, shocked, touched, entertained, comforted and once in a while, if we are lucky, transformed.
Through art, our senses escape the mundane and journey into unchartered territories. At Art Exploration Society (ArtE), we challenge individuals to reassess their perspectives and to reinvigorate their participation in art and culture.
To that end, ArtE is formed as a society to foster an open and respectable environment that encourages its members to exchange ideas, reflect on their current views and practices and to co-imagine a future for art and culture.
