Established in 2012, doubledeck factory aims to provide audience a brand new experience in music. We wish to present that concerts of classical music could go further than merely an aural experience, but could also stirs one’s visual and physical sensations. In Spring 2013, doubledeck factory has held its first production in Hong Kong City Hall’s Theatre, namely “Louis Siu and Friends Percussion Recital - Paralle(2)”. The second production was held in Autumn 2013 in the same venue, in which award winning Canadian pianist Avan Yu will held his piano recital during his Asian tour, featuring works from the Romantic period to a brand new work dedicated to Mr. Yu.

In addition, doubledeck factory strongly supports music education by providing masterclasses and workshops to local students. In Spring 2013 doubledeck factory has held a percussion masterclass for participants of the Silver Angel Club. Since 2013/14 academic year, doubledeck factory has been collaborating with LCSD since the 2013/14 School Arts Animature Scheme Project to organize a series of year-long workshops, focusing in the making of electroacoustic music.
