Welcome to Bomont, Georgia, where dancing is a crime, as are most other things that teenagers get up to. When Chicago boy Ren and his mother arrive, he challenges their small-town thinking, breaking every taboo along the way. Much to the delight of local sweetheart Ariel, the pastor’s rebellious daughter who’s just Holding out for a Hero, this unlikely couple join forces to show that Dancing Is Not a Crime.
