Devising Drama for Teens (13至18歲) (英語授課)

Devising drama is the art of creating theatre through improvisatory means, usually through creative collaboration within a group of actors. No previous acting or performance experience is required for this course.

The process of devising will be realized through the introduction of improvisatory acting techniques and spontaneous action. Visual and aural stimuli will be used to generate ideas and material, which will later become a scene or part of the narrative. We will work as a company to devise our final drama piece and as much of the creative autonomy as possible will be passed to the participants during the devising process. The facilitator will work closely with participants, providing the stimuli and acting as a director to guide and encourage creativity in the right direction so a performance can be shaped around the chosen narrative.

Acting techniques will be covered as we learn the importance of vocal quality, body movement, facial expression and focus during the active workshops. The course will culminate in a performance of the devised drama piece when family and friends are invited to watch and appreciate your hard work!
