Dramatic Public Speaking and Debating Workshop for Teens (13至18歲) (英語授課)

This course is designed to take full advantage of the application and development of speaking, listening, rapid response and swift analytical skills within a safe, interactive and creative environment. Dramatic tools and conventions will be used to engage students and encourage independent exploration and ownership of personal opinions relating to a variety of topics.

Participants will be exposed to an assortment of vocal exercises and activities whilst they learn how to articulate, debate and speak out in public effectively and with confidence. We will use technical terminology to understand the fundamentals of debate, and participants will be encouraged to engage with current affairs and the principle customs of public speaking, debating, news reporting, interviewing and advertising.

They will learn how to present themselves with composure and clarity, and to communicate information and ideas with an accomplished and pleasant vocal quality. Creative autonomy will be encouraged as an integral part to the confidence building aspect of the course, and traditional public speaking using poetry and prose will give an opportunity of independent speech and expression within the comfort of a group environment.

Participants who have attended at least 75% of the course will be awarded a certificate of completion.
